Nach meiner Ankunft in der Wohnung gegen 14 Uhr machte ich mich gestern gleich auf den Weg in die Innenstadt. Da ich momentan weder vom Stadtgrundriss noch von Bus- und Bahnlinien eine genaue Ahnung habe, lief ich einfach mal in die für mich logischste Richtung, die nach Downtown führen musste. Ich lief solange bis ich einen Park fand-den Lincoln Park- und ließ mich dort nieder, um Fotos zu machen. Aaaah, es sah einfach so cool aus-die Spitzen der Wolkenkratzer waren im Nebel verborgen und der Park wirkte wie eine kleine Farm mitten in der Stadt.
Und weil der Text nun wirklich etwas kurz ist und sich meine nicht-deutschsprachige Leserschaft vergrößert bzw. Holly immer die schrecklichen Google-Übersetzungen lesen muss, folgt das ganze nun noch in Englisch (mal schauen, wie oft ich in Zukunft die Zeit finden werde, zweisprachig zu schreiben..).

At around 2pm I arrived at the appartment and after dropping off my stuff I went outside right away to start exploring. Without knowing anything about map, trains and buses I just started to walk until I found a park -Lincoln Park- where I stopped by to take some pictures. It was awesome-the skyscrapers seemed to hide in the fog and the park looked like a farm in the middle of the city. Well, that's it-enjoy the pics!
